f48s blockmaking

As this machine has evolved, it has proved its strengths, shown its true qualities and reliability over many years. The SRS Finlay F48S is a dynamic fully automatic block machine capable of producing solid and hollow concrete blocks. The F48S has the added advantage of interchangeable mouldage with the SRS Finlay F24 block machine.

Tamper Head Carriage Quick Release

The benefit of this is that it radically speeds up mould change times, plus the added advantage of keeping the operator out of the danger zone when fitting the Tamper Head. When fitting a Mould and Tamper Head, the carriage is lowered down, the quick release carriage picks up the head and is held firmly in position. A securing bolt is then fastened between both carriage and Tamper Head as an added safety measure. Mould change will be completed in approx 20mins.

Panel View

This allows a new electrical control and fault diagnostic system, which allows the operator to monitor and control machine operations. It works through a touch screen display within the operator cab; this screen has all the functions to setup the machine to the desired operating sequence. Pre-vibration times, final vibration time and the number of tamps are changed automatically within the software. If the machine stops anywhere in its operating sequence, a screen display will show where the stoppage has occurred and a description of the fault will be displayed.
